Dilek Altan was born in 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey. She graduated from the Fine Arts High School in Eskişehir, Painting Department, and later from the Photography and Video Department at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2010. Between 2010 and 2013, she worked in photography and video at Fabrika Photography, after which she founded her own visual communication and production studio. She directs commercial and promotional films for various brands, agencies, and organizations. Since 2024, she has been producing artistic work in her studio using the cyanotype printing technique. She also serves as the creative director of Sürdürülebilir Moda Lisanı.
